U.S. Chamber of Commerce Endorses Congressman Newhouse

“It is the Chamber’s goal to help elect a pro-business majority  support of the interests of businesses to advance legislation that encourages economic growth, job creation, and a less intrusive federal government,” said Thomas J. Donohue, President & CEO of the U.S. Chamber.

“Your record of support on pro-business issues earned this endorsement,” Donohue said in a letter to Newhouse. “We believe your re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives will help produce sustained economic growth, help create jobs, and get our country back on track.”

The letter also committed to encouraging the organization’s members and voters in the 4thDistrict to vigorously support Congressman Newhouse’s re-election.

“As a small business owner myself, I know how important it is to have organizations like the U.S. Chamber advocating for free-enterprise in our nation’s capital,” said Congressman Newhouse. “I have worked hard to support these efforts during my short time in Congress and look forward to continuing to advocate for economic growth and pro-business legislation in the U.S. House.
